The Filson Down Cruiser Vest is constructed from premium, single-source European goose down for a lightweight insulation that keeps you warm without weighing you down.  The vest is water-resistant, has many functional pockets, and the zipper includes a storm flap to keep out the wind and rain.  The back of the vest is designed with a longer hem to provide extra coverage when you bend or move, and abrasion-resistant Shelter Cloth help keep the back looking new even through sitting and working.
